Complete Class Supply List
Note that for this class, we will paint on a 9x12 stretched canvas provided by Stevie. The cost of the canvas is
included in your class fee, since Stevie will trace the pattern on the canvas for you before class.
If you're not renting
paints and brushes, you must bring ALL your own paints, brushes and other supplies for the class. Winsor Newton Water
Miscible Oils are sold in sets at Michaels and Hobby Lobby, and they have a starter set that retails for about $28.00. If you
use a 40%-off coupon published from those stores in the Sunday paper, that's a good deal, but it may not contain all the
colors or brushes you need for this painting -- you may still need to buy some paint colors in addition to that kit. Check
your supply list to make sure you have ALL the necessary paints, brushes, palette paper and other supplies shown below.
There is no way to buy any supplies once you get to class. If you don't bring all required supplies with you,
you may not be able to complete the painting.
A NOTE ABOUT TRADITIONAL OILS FOR THIS CLASS: Please don't bring Bob Ross
paints for this class, but if you have traditional oil paints that you want to use (not water-mixable), you can still attend
class, as long as you do not bring paint thinner into the classroom. If you can clean your brushes with baby wipes, or if you
have extra brushes to change colors and wait until you get home to clean brushes, it's OK to bring traditional oils. NO PAINT
THINNER WILL BE PROVIDED FOR THIS CLASS, AND IT WILL NOT BE ALLOWED IN THE CLASSROOM.

ABOUT BRUSHES:
You can use either synthetic or natural hair brushes. The natural hair is better, but usually more expensive.
*
Good inexpensive synthetic brushes: Royal Soft Grip
* Better natural hair (not bristle) brushes: Loew-Cornell,
Grumbacher
If you're not sure about what to buy, contact Stevie; or bring the unopened package to class. That way, you
can still return any brushes that may be the wrong kind.
